The Will of Raph Frary, yeoman of Felmingham was written on 6 September 1618, and administration was granted on 30 April 1619, to Thomas Gelsthorp the executor.[1]

in the countie of Norffolke yeoman beinge somewhat

memorie and remembrance praised be god for it doe
hereby ordaine and make this my last will and testament
in manner and fourme followeinge First and principally
revokeinge and renounceinge all fourmer will[es] I doe
commend my soule into the handes of allmightie God the
maker and framer thereof steadfastelie assureinge my
selfe to be made p[ar]taker of his heavenlie kingdome
And my boddie I commend to xpian [christian] buriall Item
I give and bequeath unto the poore people of Felmingha[m]
Tenne shillinges to be distributed among them at my
buriall Item I give and bequeath unto Henrie
Frarie my sonne Tenne pound[es] to be paid unto him
within one yeare next after my death Item I give &
bequeath unto Raphe Frarie Thomas Frarie John

yeares at the Time of my Death within one yeare ^next after
my death And to such of them as shalbe under the age of
xxjtie yeares at the time of my death within one moneth
next after They shall accomplishe the full age of
xxjtie yeares Item I give and bequeath unto the said

To be delivered unto him within one moneth after
he shall accomplishe the age of xxjtie yeares Item I
give unto Thomas Gelsthorpe gentleman
whom I doe hereby ordaine and make sole executo[r] of
this my last will and testament All my howseholdstuff
and other implements and thinges whatsoev[er] And
the best of my beeskepps w[hi]ch be nowe all or moste of
them in or about the howse of John Woolsey wherein
I have nowe my dwellinge Provided nevertheles
and it is my will and meaneinge that whereas
the greate parte of my goodes and estate is nowe
in the handes of other men That if it shall hereaft[er]
happen my said executo[r] shall not have received or
cannot gett into his landes by faier meanes suffi=
=cient of my said good[es] and estate to paid and satisfiey[e]
severall legacies abovementioned withall at such
times as is before expressed [...] as my said
Executo[r] shalbe compelled to sue for the same or aney
p[ar]te thereof That then all and everie of my legates
above mentioned shall forbeare to call for and be
satisfied their legacies or somuch as shalbe then
wanteinge, untill the Remainderof my debtes
so to be sued as^is a foresaid shalbe recovered and
received And lastelie my Will and mynde [deleted] is

That if it shall happen ^uppon anie such sute so to be comenced
By my Executo[r] for anie of my debtes as is aforesaid
That neither the debt nor charges of sute cann be
had or obtained by course of lawe That then all and
everie of the Legators above mentioned shall p[ro]portiona=
bly amongst them allowe and satisfie unto my said
Executo[r] or his assignes out of Their said severall
legacies above mentioned all and everie such some and
somes of monie as shalbe necessarilie disbursed and
otherwise growe due for the [e]xecution of anie such suite
for anie such debt soe [...] insolvant as is aforesaid
