In the name of God Amen I Richard Harris Yeoman of Hamptworth in the Parish of Downton in the County of Wilts Being weak in Body, but of Sound Memory (Blessed be God therefore) Do make and Publush this my last Will & Testament in Manner following (that is to say)

Imprimis, I commend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God and my Body to the Earth from whence it came in Hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection

And as for Worldly Possessions I may Die possessed of I Give Devise & Bequeath in Manner & Form following, Viz, After my Death and funeral Expenses are Paid

I Give and Bequeath to my Son in law William Harold One Shilling

And to my son Richd Harris I Bequeath One Third Part of all my Effects Money & Goods Chattels etc that I may Die Possessed of

And I Give Devise and Bequeath to my Daughters as many as May be living at my Decease the other Two Thirds of my Property to be Divided Share & Share Equally alike and in case either my Said Daughters should Die before me having any Children the said Children to have the mothers share Divided Equally among them

And I Do Declare this to be my last Will & Testament appointing my son Richd Harris sole Executor of this my last Will Dated this Twelfth Day of July One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eight

Sign’d Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of Witnesses hereto Annex’d and signed by me in their Presence and Before them the Hand & Seal of His X Mark Richd Harris
