This is a transcription of the filed copy of the will of Rowland Hacker of East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. Rowland had his will drawn up on 25 June 1673, and it was proved at the Archdeaconry Court of Bingham on 5 January 1675/6. [1]

this my present Will and testament in manner and forme following First [....]
to Almighty God being fully p[er]swaded by his holy Spirit through the death and pa[ssion of]
Jesus Christ to obtain full pardon and remission of all my Sins and to inherit everlas[ting life]
And my body to be buried in the North Quire within the parish Church of Bridgford aforesaid
according to the discretion of the Overseers of this my last Will and testament hereafter menc[i]oned
And for my worldly Goods thus I bestow vizt.

Impr[imis] I give and bequeath unto Charles Hacker my
eldest son all and singular my lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever with thappurtenances
lying and being within the Fields and territoryes of East Bridgford aforesaid To have and to hold
Immediately from and after my decease to him and his heirs for ever (except one Cottage Lease of
one Cottage and one Close thereunto belonging called or known by the name of Spencers Wong
lying in Bridgford aforesaid now or late in the tenure of Thomas Sponge or his assigns [...]
I give and bequeath to my ^son Ferndinando To have and to hold Immediately from and after [....]
to him and his heires for ever)

And I give and bequeath to my said son Charles Hacker a[ll .....]
my Lands Tenements and hereditaments lying and being in Kinolton in the said County of Nottingham
with all and Singuler thappurtenances To have and to hold to him and his heirs for ever paying
and discharging all and Singuler such Legacies as hereafter in this my Will is expressed

Item I give
and bequeath to my son Fardinando [2] the Sume of three hundred pounds to be paid by my
Son Charles Hacker out of my Estate in Bridgford and Kinolton within six monthes after [the]
said Charles shall come to the possession of the same. But if it plea[se] God that my said [Sonne]
Fardinando shall dye before the said Legacye of Three hundred pounds shall be become [....]
be paid Them my will is th[a]t Two hundred of the said three hundreed pounds shall [.....]
to my Son Charles and the other one hundred pounds to be paid to my daughter M[....]
and my daughter Sarah Brough equally to be devided bet[wi]xt them
