The last will of Samuell Williams of Estington in the County of Gloucs
as followeth
Imprimis I give unto my son Beniamin my two grounds in Estington
called longcroft or the new lease & the ham lease,
Item the house & appurten[an]ces therto belonging w[hi]ch I bought of John
Harris of Alkerton for fifty pounds the same mony my son Beniamin
hath paid me for it, therfore I make it to him by those presents
in my will w[i]th the arrears of rent w[hi]ch John Harris doth owe to me.
Item I do give to my son Nathannell Williams my ground w[hi]ch I bought
of Daniel Partridge of Leonard Standly called bakers close w[i]th the
same interest w[hi]ch I have or ought to have in it
Item I give to him my right in a bond of 40l made to me
by Joseph Nath and for w[hi]ch I do hold of him his home close till
such time as that mony is satisfied by him the s[ai]d Joseph Nath
to him my son Nathanaell
Item whereas Joseph Narth oweth to me sixty and odd pounds, thirty
pounds therof is my son Beniamins & ten pounds is my brother
James Adams & that being paid, the rest I give to both my
said sons equally parted and devided
Item I give to my son Nathaniell my book of matins and all
mr perkins works, the rest of all my books to be devided betwixt
them save my written sermons I give Nathaniell
Item I give my brother Richard Williams & my sister Elizabeth
ten shillings a peece if they be living and to all his children
five shillings a peec if that it be lawfully demanded at any time
Item I do give to my sister Margaret Adams ten shillings if she be living
Item I give to my cousin James Adams ten shillings
Item I give to 'my cousin John Hall and cousin Susan Hall' 'ten
shillings a peece, and to my cousin Samuell Hall and cousin Daniel
Hall twenty shillings apeece & I do make them overseers of this
my will
Item I do give Deborah Knight my servant six pounds as was
my wives desire I should do for part of it
Item I give ten shillings by the year yeerly to be paid to such
poor folk as my sons shall think good for ten years by them
all the rest of my goods un mentioned I give my two sons Beniamin
& Nathanaell to be equally divided betwixt them by my said overseers
Lastly I make my son Beniamin my executor of this my will
this twenty sixth of September An[no] d[omi]ni 1668 and herunto my hand
