This is a transcription of the register copy of the Will of Seaborne Buckeridge of London. It was written on 4 January 1700 and proved at London on 26 November 1701. [1][2]

Seaborne Buckeridge
In the Name of God Amen:
I Seaborne Buckeridge of London Merchant at present enjoying perfect health
and memory (for which I give my most humble and hearty thanks to God) but not
knowing how soon it may please him to take me out of this transitory life doe make
ordaine and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following
(that is to say) In primis and before all things I committ my Soul to Allmighty God
my Creator trusting most assuredly to be saved by the death passion and only meritts
of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer And my Body to the Earth to be
decently Interred in Christian Buryall as my Executrix hereafter mentioned shall
think fitt And as to all my reall and personall Estate which God of his infinite
mercy hath or shall bestow upon me (my Debts and Funerall charges being first paid)
I give and bequeath as followeth (that is to say) one third part according to the custome
of the City of London) to my dearly beloved Wife Sarah Buckeridge
one other
third part to be equally divided between two of my Children that is to say Anthony
Rodney Buckeridge and Elizabeth Buckeridge I having already given Five
Hundred pounds as a Marriage Portion to my eldest Daughter Sarah Buckeridge

The remaining third (which
according to the said custome is solely at my dispose) I give unto my dearly
beloved Wife Sarah Buckeridge aforesaid to be by her disposed of as she shall
think most convenient whom I also make sole Executrix of this my last Will and
Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this fourth
day of January In the twelfth year of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord William
the third by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King
