Whereas William Garrigues Junior of the City of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, House Carpenter, son of William Garrigues and Hannah his Wife of Philadelphia aforesaid, and Margaret Humphreys, daughter of Richard Humphreys late of [illeg] in the state aforesaid deceased and Margaret his Wife, having declared their intentions of marriage with each other before a Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends held at Radner in the state aforesaid according to the good order used among them and having the consent of surviving Parents, their said proposal of marriage was allowed of by the said Meeting. Now these are to certify whom it may concern that, for their full accomplishment of their said Intentions, this twentieth day of the tenth month, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred & twelve, they the said William Garrigues Junior and Margaret Humphreys appeared at a Public Meeting of the said People at Darby held in their Meeting House in Haverford state aforesaid, and the said William Garrigues Junior taking the said Margaret Humphreys by the hand, did, on this solemn occasion openly declare, that he took her the said Margaret Humphreys to be his Wife promising, with devine assistance to be unto her a loving and faithful Husband until Death should separate them, and then in the same Assembly, the said Margaret Humphreys, did in like manner declare, that she took him the said William Garrigues Junior to be her Husband, promising with divine assistance, to be unto him a loving & faithfull Wife until Death should seperate them: And moreover they the said William Garrigues Junior and Margaret Humphreys (she according to the custom of Marriage assuming the name of her Husband) did, as a further confirmation thereof, did then and there to these presents set their Hands. And We, whose names are also hereunder subscribed being present at the solemnization of the said marriage and subscription, have as witnesses thereunto, set our Hand the day and year above written.

Mary Mendenhall, Jr. Is linked to Mary L. (Mendenhall) King (1807-1884). She cannot possibly have signed this marriage certificate when she was only 3 years old. I am going to remove the link to this page from Mendenhall-774 since it is an error.
