Biography
William Rose was the son of John Rose of Wye, Kent.[1][2][3]
His year of birth is not known but estimated as circa 1470 as he was married (wife's name unknown) and had children in 1502.[1]
William had at least one daughter Elizabeth, probably born before 1502.[1]Elizabeth married John Warham[4][5] of Wyngham, Kent (son of John Warham of Malshanger, Hampshire). Elizabeth & John's children most likely inherited Roses Farm in Broomfield (see below).[6]
William died in 1509 and was buried in the parish church in Faversham, Kent[7]. He was described as a jurat.[8]
