Was Robert Wing senior (1855-1904) a Native American? He emigrated from New York to Liverpool and his marriage certificate lists his father as (Red, Read or Reed Wing) "Red Indian Chief". Family legend suggests that he was from the Blackfoot tribe but there doesn't seem to be much evidence.
