1857: First gravestone layed

1979: "Cemetery has been DESTROYED. When stones were copied in 1972, they were found piled under a small clump of trees"

2019: "Same thing. Stones are readable and the cemetery has the ability to be restored."

- What happened:

in the 1950's and 60's the person who owned the land had cattle. In an attempt to save these 100 year old gravestones, he piled them under a small clump of trees, as most of them had been broken from their bases, and put cattle fencing around it in a square.

There are 9 KNOWN gravesites there.

Photos will be included

The graves will be removed from their new place, NOT THE ORIGINAL, and cleaned with D/2 cleaner with only the safest brushes. The text, as it is quickly deteriorating, might be painted with black, stone-safe paint, that will be temporary until a permanent solution is found -

Right now this project just has one member, me. Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.
