Slayton-1071 Clinton Slayton Jr.
This workspace contains records that I viewed up the road in Madison County KY, and they showed important family names known to be connected to the KY Slatons (Watts, Fox) and these are not included in your profile. These were hard-won with years of research, and as far as I know, no one had connected John and Judith with his parents in GA because it was assumed that with proximity to Hopkins Co, this was part of another branch. Because it takes an accumulation of evidence that makes for such a long profile, I introduced the workspace to make the profile less lengthy, and screwed up at the time. I repaired all the mistakes, but was not happy to see so much of this removed from the merged profile.

We (Julia and I) also went to Henderson Co to look at records and for the grave.

As you know, Profile Slaton-183 for John Slaton was originally created by Peggy McReynolds. Recently, you suggested to change his surname to Slayden, which I did, because I agreed with you, based on various records, including Georgia records, which I too previously found.

I did the best merge, that I could, but you admitted, based on your messages you sent me, that you accidently deleted several entries and sources, which I previously added to the Slaton-183 profile. Then you created this profile, which I don't have access to make changes (Green), which included the sources which I added to profile Slaton-183 (census records, Jillson etc) which you removed from Slaton-183.

I'm still working on the profile for John Slayden, to add sources. I respect your researching abilities, but please respect mine.
