The old Worrigee cemetery was a pioneer cemetery in use until the beginning of the 20th century. According to Cremweb, the land was donated by the wife of Prosper de Mestre (which Prosper is not specified), and the cemetery was situated on the grounds of the original St Johns Anglican Church. The known burial date range is between 1856 and 1909, though burials may have begun before 1856.
