Y-DNA I subhaplogroups shown by YCC shorthand naming (i.e. major haplogroup - SNP name) of DNA testers found in their WikiTree profiles which once included results in YSearch.

For the hierarchy of these subhaplogroups see Y-DNA Haplogroup I and its Subclades and Family Tree DNA’s Y Haplotree and
Y-DNA Haplogroup I1 & Subgroup Page

In SNP name order. WikiTreers are encouraged to add to this list. Please show only one example per subhaplogroup.

Why do the terminal SNP pages go directly to profiles? Shouldn't they lead to free space pages so that multiple profiles can be linked? The directions even say "Please show only one example per subhaplogroup.", but if I want to know everyone in a specific haplogroup-SNP, that's not helpful?

These are examples of different subhaplogroups found in WikiTree. Before YSearch's demise, you could see the haplotype (for the subhaplogroup). If these Y-DNA testees added their result to mitoYDNA.org then we could once again see their haplotype. mitoYDNA links subhaplogroups to their position on FTDNA's Y haplogroup tree.

So the intention of these is not to allow us to track which members have this subhaplogroup?
posted by Jonathan Crawford
That is correct. You can use WikiTree's search function and find profiles with a particular subhaplogroup.
