Susan Spall was born in Debenham, Suffolk, England.

Susan was born on 16 August 1816 and baptised in St Mary Magdalene Debenham on 23 May 1820. She is the daughter of Charles Spall and Harriot née Goodram.[1]

She gave birth to her son, Nathan Henry Spall, on 22 January 1838.[2]

She died in St Leonard Foster Lane, Aldersgate on 11 February 1838, age 21.[3] Her cause of death was said to be "inflammation of the bowels" but was probably a consequence of childbirth.

She was buried in St Mary Magdalene Churchyard Debenham on 18 February 1838, age 20.[4]
