Louisa Spangler was born on May 2, 1829 and christened on August 24, 1833 at the Glade reformed and Lutheran Congregation, Stonycreek, Somerset, Pennsylvania. Her parents on the church record are shown as Samual Spangler and Mary Elizabeth.[1]
She married John Mossholder on December 3, 1846. They had ten children: Mary Amanda, Savilla, Emeline, Nelson, Isaac H., Emma, Samuel B., Sarah Elizabeth, George, and Jonathan.
She died on November 20, 1879 and is buried at the Lambertsville Cemetery, Stonycreek, Somerset, Pennsylvania.[2]
