Biography

Ada Madeline Sparrow was born on 4 October 1908 in Newburg, Northampton, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Charles W Sparrow (1877–1964) and Gertrude McGaughey (1888–1964).

Her siblings were:

  1. Elsie Gertrude Geraldine Sparrow (1905–1982)
  2. Bert Charles Sparrow (1920–2008)

Ada (26) married Donald Isaac Greenlaw (25) (born on 7 April 1910 in Millville, York, New Brunswick; son of Henry Isaac Greenlaw and Minnie Beatrice Pearl (Ward) Greenlaw) on 28 September 1935 in Woodstock, Carleton.

Ada died on 27 March 1995 in Woodstock, Carleton, aged 86. She was buried in Hay Settlement United Church Cemetery, Meductic, York County, New Brunswick.[1]
