Benjamin Spalding, son of James , was born 15 March 1737/8 [1] Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay, British Colonial America.Westford, Massachusetts. He was baptized 26 March 1738.[2]

He married Sarah Chandler of Westford, Massachusetts at Jaffrey, New Hampshire. The marriage was published 3, Feb. 1759. Sarah died 3 Oct. 1796.[2]

He began military service as a Captain in the militia in Col. Moses Nichols's Regiment on 3 July 1780. The company joined the continental army at West Point. He was discharged on 20 Oct. 1780.[3][4]

He married Mrs. Betty Flood of Marlborough, New Hampshire.[2]

Benjamin died in 1810 at Marlborough, New Hampshire.[2]
