Biography

Adelaide died less than a year after her husband. Both David and Adelaide died in Painesville, Lake County, Ohio. They lived at 133 Carmody Street, Painesville, Lake, Ohio. However, it is interesting to note that the 1880 US Census has her living with her father (shown as step-father) and her marital status shows as "W." Something is not factual. David's death certificate is evidence that he was not dead in 1880. I (Hollenbeck-72) suppose the stepmother, Eliza, was the informant for the 1880 census and didn't like David Hollenbeck and called Adelaide a widow--just conjecture.
