Bill Spearman was in Korea with (Faron Young, Special Service division), (Country Singer) and played along in a band with him and the family story was he could have went to Nashville with the band after Serving our Country in Korea , he came back to Piedmont S.C, He was also Great at restoration of Classic Cars, He loved his passion of automobiles.

Obituary: William Dean "Bill" Spearman, 81 husband of the late Frances "Joyce" Williams Spearman, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, Born Anderson County, he was the son of the late Ernest Dean Spearman, and Ida Parker Spearman, and a U.S. ARMY KOREAN WAR VETERAN, He was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens for 29 years and Potter - Shackleford Construction and an Old Car and racing enthusiasts. PELZER – Helen West Pack, 86, formerly of Highway 29, widow of John T. Pack, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Belton Barto and Inez Huckabee West. She was a homemaker and a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, loving her children, and babysitting. She is survived by sons, John Raymond Pack of Pelzer and Kerry Manning Pack of Powdersville; daughter, Revonda Pack Lippert of Pelzer; sisters, Lois Wells of Williamston and Lillie Caviness of Easley; brother, Bill West of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Pack Skelton; and brothers, Ray, Joe, and Charlie West. Visitation will be 2-3:30 pm Friday followed by funeral services at 3:30 pm at Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
