Miss Spearman could be ? Elizabeth E.Rutherford b.1722 if they married I have a date as 1738 Essex, Virginia,

I see records mentioned a Susannah Catlett being a Grandmother if this is true i would like to have proof?

They was a John Spearman and Susannah in 1666 that sold 200 acres of land in Rappahannock County on August 24, 1666 for 3300 pounds of tobacco to John Catlett seems more like a trade to me.

Notes shared

Hi, Donnie! I got a WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF from SC Archives, but it is too much to copy and put on the FB page. I got a copy of Thomas Job Spearman's will: He names his children by his first wife (he didn't write his first wife's name, but here are the children): William, Elizabeth, John, James, Mary, Edmund. and he mentions the children by his 2nd wife, Margaret: Mary Rutherford, Robert Smith, Samuel Dishman, and Thomas (all with the Spearman last name). Everything I read says he died in 1770 in Essex Co, VA. But this will came from Pendleton District, and the date he signed it is 1794. Is this the same guy? Is his death date wrong in other places? I could take a photo of it and text it to you in sections if you like (send me your phone #). I promised I would share what I found. Please help me with this problem! Thanks! Rosalind, TR

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Thomas:
