Biography

Sarah Speer was born in county Tyrone about 1722, the daughter of John Speer (1697–1763) of Belnasaggart, parish of Errigal Keerogue.^[1][2]

Research notes

• The estimated year of birth is based on the order in which Sarah Speer's father listed his children's names in his last will and testament.^[2] His son, James, who was fourth in that order, was born in 1724.^[3]
