Biography

Martha was born in 1823. Her father was born in Ireland and mother in Maryland. Jennie married to Townshend D. Stith prior to 1857. She was mentioned in the will of his mother. She had one child, Jennie D. (Stith) Thorman.

Martha was residing with Townshend's nephew by 1870. It is not clear when she was widowed but appeared as such in the census of 1900 in Delaware County, Ohio. It is likely she died there.
