DNA Tested
Colin Spencer's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Colin or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
  • Colin Spencer: Family Tree DNA Y-DNA Test 37 markers, haplogroup R-M269, FTDNA kit #266209
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Colin:

Thanks. Lefevre was the LNAB of my maternal grandmother (Lefevre-792). I'm interested in following a number of lines forward to discover living cousins etc. and in finding the ancestors of Lefevre-797 whose birth date is listed in your database (Id 4242) as 1810 but for whom census records suggest a birth date of 1801.

I think the GRO reference for Daisy Maria Lefevre was a typo. The UK GRO order was refunded since they couldn't find the record. Searching myself shows a similar record for 1887.

Thanks for your comment on Lefevre-805 about the 1851 census record. I thought I had already cited this as a source. Did I do it incorrectly?

Hi Colin

You have set up your ONS project correctly. The FAQ section provides some great tips. Also, you may want to look at other studies in the ONS project to see how they set up categories for their study.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. That's awesome. Our GEDCOM process is a bit different than what might be used to on other sites. We have some great help pages to make your experience go more smoothly:

After importing a GEDCOM

If you have any questions about your GEDCOM or our process, you can contact our GEDCOM Manager for assistance.
