Annie (Spencer) Watkins is part of a Bahamian family.

Born 9 Apr 1869, Rock Sound, Eleuthera Bahamas to Mary Fletcher Carey and John Spencer.[1]

In 1900, twenty-nine-year-old wife Annie was living in Key West, Florida. She immigrated to the United States in 1895. Annie took care of the home and family. Ruby (1), stayed home with her mom. Her husband, Joseph (34) owned their mortgage free home. He immigrated to the United States from the Bahamas in 1885, and was working as a Sponger Fisherman. Gerald (7) and Mary (5) attended school. Annie's brother-in-law, Buey (50) was living with them. He immigrated to the United States in 1880. Also living with them was her fifty-year-old brother, Moses Spencer. He immigrated to the United States in 1895 and was working as a Sponger Fisherman. [2]
