Biography
George was born in Gosberton Risegate, Lincolnshire on 19 September 1838 and baptised a few days later in Gosberton on 23 September 1838. His parents were George and Eliza (Smith) Spencer, farmers.[1][2][3]
George emigrated to North America, arriving in Taylorsville, Salt Lake City, Utah in 1881[4]
George was a miller[5]. On the 21st August 1907, George was struck by a shaft of lightening. His death was instantaneous. [6][3] He is buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Utah, USA
