Life

George's mother Lovinia passed away July 1st, 1860 from a bowel blockage, so the children practically raised each other since their father was gone working long hard hours in the field of farming.

Geo's daughter Gertrude May Spencer married William J. Stevens on 17 January 1900 in Flushing Twp, Genesee, Michigan.[11][12]

George's father and sister had already moved from New York to Michigan, so George followed him there when he was Twenty.

George's father David H Spencer had moved to Michigan by this time and passed away four years after attending his daughter Jennie Jane's wedding to Edward O'Neil in Petoskey, Michigan in 1896.

Death & Burial

George Spencer Contracted TB and passed away from Pneumonia on December 12th, 1902 at the young age of 50. Geo died (age 50) on 18 December 1902 in Flushing, Genesee, Michigan, United States.[13]
