Lemuel Spencer was born 1 September 1835, Randolph, North Carolina to George Spencer and Rebecca Bray. He died 2 November 1925, Richland, Randolph, North Carolina. [1]
19 February 1861, Randolph, North Carolina, Lemuel married Mary Owens.[4]
He joined the Confederate Army, and served with his four brothers in the 46th Regiment, North Carolina Infantry.
