Sarah Spencer married about 1700 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut to Joseph Chapman. 
In 1705 she received the distribution of her share of the estate of her father in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut with listing as "John Chapman & wife Sarah Spencer".
On 17 Dec 1715 she received a portion of her brother Jonathan Spencer's estate in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut which mentioned that Joseph Chapman should have the 20-acre lot #112 by John Smith.
She died about 1732 in Old Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
