Biography

She was born about 1679 in East Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut [1] [2] and her parents were Sarah and Timothy Spencer.

Sarah Spencer married about 1700 in Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut to Joseph Chapman. [3]

In 1705 she received the distribution of her share of the estate of her father in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut with listing as "John Chapman & wife Sarah Spencer".

On 17 Dec 1715 she received a portion of her brother Jonathan Spencer's estate in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut which mentioned that Joseph Chapman should have the 20-acre lot #112 by John Smith.

She died about 1732 in Old Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut. [1]
