Biography

I grew up on a very small farm outside the village of Danvers, IL located in McLean County. Most of my family still lives in the McLean County area and has for several generations - at least on my mother's side. My father's side has only been there for a couple of generations.

Both of my parents have family who came from Ohio. My father's from the north-western area around Defiance, my mother's from the south-western area around Cincinnati.

The family names on my father's side I am tracing include: Spencer, Ranes, Bright, Bower, Reed, Combs, Tucker and others.

The family names on my mother's side I am tracing include: Schofield, Langhoff, Fagaly, Miller, Simmons, Buzan, Walsh, Long, Studebaker, and others.

Hi! I came across your Langhoff profiles. You are likely related to my dad! Pretty sure all Langhoff/Langholf/Langholffs/Langhofs are connected.
Looks Like we could be 5th Cousins, Once Removed , Via Fagly- Rininger connection

I added the project profile as PM. Leave that. It's for protection.

No I don't. I don't see any changes to the profile. All 200 year old profiles are open by default and cannot be changed.

Thanks so much for the help with Z. Spencer. Does it look correct to you now? I am not certain of the childeen but I was more concerned with the parents.

Thanks! Then we will not merge them. Better safe than sorry. I figured it was up in the air because I noticed they were both yours and I had not seen any duplicates that you had left.

Bunn-60 Becky, I am glad that you have this information. I follow the Long's because there tend to be a LOT of them, especially when you get back past 1840s...I am glad I could find some links for you...save you some time, but please add info if you have it and pictures too! If you need any help, let me know...I thought I saw something that might be wrong a couple of "John's" back though...different Mother? Margaret?  :)

Sorry this isn't my Long line, but I keep an eye on all of them because there are so many! I also proposed a merge for Living Unknown to Anna Bunn, and the same for her father, so that's pending.

) Happy hunting! Nae

Hi!

I'm Eowyn, a WikiTree Mentor and Team Member. We're building a single family tree that we all hook into. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well!

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

We also have our Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our members help each other out.

Any questions I can answer? Happy to help :)

Thank you, Rebecca, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree. You are so fortunate to have had parents and grandmothers who took an interest in their heritage. :)

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.

Our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please try very hard not to add any duplicates to our shared tree.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!
