The mother to the daughter connection does not seem right. There were Armstrongs who moved to Maine, and Armstrongs who moved to Pennsylvania who eventually ended up following the trail of many other Scots-Irish families south. Migrating from the UK to Boston to Maine to Pennsylvania in that time frame would be very unusual.
