He and Emily made their home in Willamson County, Texas, where in 1880, he was Farming and she was taking care of the home and children, James-4, Margret-2, and Estella-9 month's old.[7] In 1910, they were on their farm in Williamson County, with only 3 children left in the home with them, Herbert-24, Lel-22, and Norman-16.[8]
He died on October 25, 1911, at the age of 60, in Texas, and was buried in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Williamson County, Texas.[1]
