William that is a profile manager on Zachariah Spencer does descend from Zachariah, his dna has been removed. When I kept saying William did not descend from Zachariah. I was talking about the William that Lynn thought adopted Zachariah not the profile manager. I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. Thank you for bringing it to my attention William.
William T. Spencer (JR) officially changed to (II) has a son (III) and he has a son (IV)' I AM THE DECEASED SISTER Virginia Ruth Spencer jEWELL'S BROTHER.
I appreciate the notice about Zachariah Spencer's spouse showing as Christiana and as Charity and birth dates being the same. I have not been able to resolve this problem but would appreciate any help on this conflict.
I am sorry it took me so long to respond to your messages, for I was busy battling lung cancer! Yes, you are right "This is not credible!". I did have him being born in St Johns, Maryland. His marriage record has him listed as being born in GR and his spouse born in MD. I will look into it more.
I saw your recent post on G2G and wanted to invite you to join in our "Weekend Chat".
It's a popular weekly G2G post where many the members visit and share in a variety of topics. New people say "Hi" and introduce themselves, Leaders and Mentors give tips and answer questions, and regulars share updates on their latest projects and victories... anything they wish to chat about. I most enjoy stories of famous or nefarious ancestors.
We'd love to hear form you, stop in when you're able!
You were asking how could Zachariah Spencer I have been born in St. John's, Maryland as some people have stated if he was naturalized in 1742 - the simple answer would be that of course, he could not have been born in St. John's and then be naturalized later. I would guess that either there is a record of him joining a church (possibly with a baptism taking place) in St. John's, or the fact that records show him married there may be leading some people to believe he was born there as well. I have seen both of those examples lead people to make a wrong assumption of an ancestor's birth location.
I welcome any Spencer to communicate about sharing genealogical information especially Zachariah Spencer I who is reported to have been born in Germany! 1705
