Our Buninyoug correspondent, writing last evening, says;—“A very sudden and sad death occurred on Monday evening, at Scotchmans, when Mrs Hayward, who was chatting with her husband, suddenly fell down and expired. The usual post mortem examination was made by Dr Longden, and the customary investigations were conducted by Mr P. J. Hedrick, J.P., whose finding was to the effect that death resulted from a general breaking up of the system. Sergeant O’Shaughnessy took the depositions. The deceased lady was a prominent Wesleyan, and was widely esteemed for her charitable and Christian character.”
