Biography

Helen Martha Sperry, daughter of Harvey Coe Sperry and Mary Crawford Daubin, was born on the 29 Oct 1879 in Elm View, Grayson, Texas.^[1]

Helen married on the 4 July 1901 in Sherman, Grayson, Texas, John Lewis Francis. To this union would be born one child, Mary.

Helen passed away on the 13 Jul 1963 in Oklahoma City, Cleveland, Oklahoma.^[1]

Obituary

Helen graduated from Kidd-Key College in Sherman, TX before moving to OK in 1901. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a charter and life member of th YWCA, a life member of the Art League and Art Association, a member of Sorosis Club, DAR, Ladies Music Club, Garden Club, and Big Sisters Organization.
