The Marriage License Bond between William Brewster of Forncett St. Peter and and Elizabeth Spicer of Heigham is dated 23 May 1829. [1]
In the 1871 census of Suffolk, we see Elizabeth aged 60 living at Croughens Corner, Mutford "keeping house for her son" Frederick, a farmer and machinist, aged 24. Her widowed daughter Eliza Pont aged 31is living with them as an annuitant and her older daughter Sophia aged 41 is visiting neighbours, not yet married and listed as "annuitant"[2]
In 1891, Elizabeth was living with her daughter Sophia Lord in Ipswich, Suffolk. [3]
Elizabeth (Spicer) Brewster died in Ipswich in 1899 aged 81 and was buried in the old Municipal Section L
