Florence was born on the 13th April 1915 in West Ham, Essex. Her mother's maiden name was Gunnett.[1][2]
In the 1921 census Florence (age 6) was the daughter of Samuel Arthur Spicer at 39 St George's Road, Forest Gate, West Ham, Essex & London, England.[3]
