Biography
Marion was born in about 1884. she was the daughter of Charles Spindler, a Farmer, and Louisa Martha May. Her parents were married in 1877 in London, England.
She lived with her parents and sisters in Landcroft Road, Camberwell, Southwark, London, England (1891) and London, Middlesex, England (1901). In 1901 she was aged 17 and single.
Occupation: Telephone Operator
On 31 August 1907, 23 year old Marion married 26 year old Herbert Edwin Seagers at St John the Evangelist, East Dulwich, Camberwell, England, after Banns. [1] Her address was recorded as 36 Muschamp Road. Herbert's occupation was recorded as Accountant of 48 Avondale Road, East Dulwich. The Witnesses were Alfred William Henry Perrin and Alice Eleanor Middleton.
They had two children.
UK Census Event Date 1911: Living with her husband, one year old son Geoffrey, one visitor and one servant at 11 Thurlby Road, West Norwood S E, Lambeth, London, England. Aged 26.
She and her family emigrated from England to South Africa.
Her husband Herbert passed away in 1951 at the age of about 71
