Greenwood---"Mrs. Harding Spinney is home after being absent a few months, and her daughter, Mrs. Noble Lyons, of Canning, and her children are at Mrs. James B. Spinney's."
Mrs. Noble Lyons of Canning, was my grandfather's first wife, Rowena. Her sons, Roy Lyons and Ralph Lyons, were most likely with her, when she visited her family in Greenwood.

Poor Grampa and my aunts and uncles! Uncle Clint was 7 and Aunt Helen just two, when their mother died. It has always been my understanding that my grandmother, Bertha Legge Lyons, initially came down to Blomidon from Scots Bay Road to take care of Noble and Rowena's children, aged 14,12,11,7 and 2 when their mother died.
