Descendant of John Ganzer Spires.
Myrtice was born in 1937,[1][2][3] the fourth of nine children to Joseph Brown Spires[4] and Essie Wilma Bristol. Her siblings were: Herbert Hoover, Living, Lula Gwendolyn, Living, Sandra Kathryn,[5] Julian David,[6] Lena Joyce, and Living.

She remarried to Robert Lee Trent, son of William Walter Trent and Nellie Brown Sartin, on 11 Jun 1971 in Polk County."[11] She was 34 years old and was his second wife. They divorced on 1 Sep 1972 in Polk County.[12]
She remarried to Raymond Christian Lucas, son of George Lucas and Josephine Davin, on 2 Nov 1984 in Polk County.[13] She was 47 years old.
Myrtice passed away in 1987 at the age of 50.[1][2][3][14]
