Biography
Very little know about her. She was dead when her husband wrote his will in 1771 and she had a sister named Elizabeth.
Although "Molly" SPIVEY is only mentioned as the sister of Elizabeth SPIVEY, she can be matched to Molly SPIVEY through her father's NC will.
20 April 1771 Will of Thomas MARKS of Southampton, Virginia Legatee: daughter Mary, wife of Benjamin BRADSHAW; to Elizabeth SPIVEY, sister of my deceased wife, until she marries; daughter, Rebecca, wife of William MACKEY; daughter Honour, wife of Richard WORRELL; daughter Margret, wife of William DOYEL; land adjoining John HASTY, William SPIVEY and land formerly Robert MONGERS to be sold and proceeds divided between Richard WORRELL and William MACKEY. Executors: my two sons-in-law Richard WORRELL and William MACKEY. Dated: 20 April 1771; R: 9 April 1772. Wit: Francis ROSE; Charity SPIVYE, William SPIVYE, the son of Aaron SPIVYE.
