Mary was born about 1839 in Plymouth County, MA, the daughter of Horatio N. and Jerusha Spooner. She was a resident of Plymouth city, MA. [1]
John and Mary had three children Nelson, William, and Maud.
Mary died on 1 September 1862. She is buried with her husband at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury, Massachusetts. NOTE: findagrave shows her maiden name as HOLMES. Holmes was her middle name. Her maiden name was SPOONER.[2]
