A rogue lawyer (according to the definition in Massachusetts Law), Lysander Spooner was an important and outspoken advocate of Abolition and Freedom during his lifetime and often hushed and marginalized by the powerful people of his day. He authored many pamphlets and several books detailing his thoughts about the injustices of the United States system of government and was openly critical of that system.
