Evening Times Globe - Jan 6, 1934 The death of Jacob W Spragg occurred this morning at the Saint John General Hospital. He lived in he east end of the city practically all his life and for many years conducted a coal business on Prince Edward Street. He was a member of the Salvation Army, Brindley Street Corps, and was well known in that section of the city and had many friends, who will regret to learn of his death. He is survived by his wife, four sons, James R, George W, Charles W and Joseph E Spragg, all of Saint John; two daughters, Mrs William Nodwell of this city and Mrs Philip Sawyer of Vermont, and also two sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Stilwell and Mrs Delia Chamberlain, both of Boston. Funeral from residence of his son Joseph on Monday. Interment will be in the Methodist Burying Ground.
