Birth: Feb. 20, 1725, Smithfield, Providence Co, Rhode Island
Death: Jul. 9, 1821 New Berlin, Chenango Co, NY
Lydia Sprague is the daughter of Hezekiah and Sarah Smith Sprague and in March 22, 1745 she married Isaac Medbury in Warwick, RI and they had at least ten children: Nathaniel, Lydia, George, Hezekiah, Joseph, Isaac, Annie Abigail, Benjamin and Stephen and a child that died young. Lydia was a woman of great power and character. At the age of 95 she rode horseback from New Berlin to Cooperstown, a distance of more than fifty miles. (This was probably a round trip since it is about 26 miles each way) Burial: Medbury Cemetery, New Berlin, Chenango County, New York, USA
