Her tombstone says she was 69 years old which makes birth year in 1777 between Chloe and John. I am certain she can only be the daughter of John Sprague II and Mary Hutchins, his wife. Given the Sprague families in Winhall Vermont in 1790 all were too young to have Polly as a daughter. in the 1790 census John II is still in Killingly, CT. He was the last one who came to Vermont and is the only probable father based on census records that show 4 women in the household in 1790. He has younger women in his household until death and there were never any documented daughters until I found the death certificate for Chloe who named John and Mary her parents. Given the year of birth I am also certain she was born in Killingly as were her documented siblings born prior.
Dr Ely Day's will names Mary as his wife. He leaves her everything and makes her executor of his will. One sources says they have no issue but the Day geneology book has four children listed so I will leave them here for now. [5]
