Rachel Sprague was born at Providence, Rhode Island, in November of 1716, a daughter of Jonathan Sprague and Hannah (Coggeshall) Sprague.
She married first Nicholas Peck, son of Elisha and Martha (Lake) Peck, in June of 1739 at Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island – their children were Hannah and Jerusha Peck.
Nicholas Peck died before 1743 and she married next, Samuel Clark, son of Aaron and Hannah (Unknown) Clark, about 1743, at Cumberland, Providence, Rhode Island; Samuel and Rachel were the parents of Elizabeth, Martha (died very young), Nicholas, Samuel, Rachel, Aaron, Stephen, William, a second Martha, and Silas Clark.
She is thought to have died in or close to 1759, most likely at Cumberland.
