DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Peter by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Peter:

Does anyone know about the following site an their assertions re Peter Sprinkle's wife and parents?

http://sprinkle-family.tripod.com/

"We have no proof of the names of Peter Sprenckel's parents, his wife or the location they resided in Germany....The link between immigrant Peter and Johann does not exist. Any website that lists any names for Peter's parents and wife or a specific region in Germany are bogus"

There may be a generation missing here or incorrect dates. Peter's mother would have been 54 at his birth
