John married Catharina Kraemer October 27, 1874, in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.[1] They lived at 714 Campbell Avenue in the Delray neighborhood that is now part of southwest Detroit. John was a boilermaker.[2]
John married Mrs. Mary M. (Karbach) Kaechle June 20, 1912, in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.[3]
John died from bladder cancer June 20, 1921.[4][5] He was buried June 21, 1921, at Mount Elliott Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.[6]
