Research Notes
Document #1 This interesting document suggests a link between William Sprigge of Banbury, his son Basil Sprigge of London, and Mary Fish's son, Jonathan Fish, of Warwickshire. It also indicates that Mary Willis was a grand daughter of a William Smith, who may have been related to Elizabeth Smyth, wife of William Sprigge of Lubenham (likely father of William Sprigge of Banbury and Mary Fish), which might then suggest that Mary Willis, of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire, was possibly also related to William Sprigge and Mary (Sprigge) Fish.

There is no baptism entry at Lubenham for an Elizabeth Smythe around the appropriate period, but the baptism records only began in 1559, and it is quite possible that Elizabeth was born before that date.
