Biography

Archibald Edward Spring was born in 1876 in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, the son of Mary Spring and John Spring.[1]

In 1915 at Bridgetown, Western Australia, Archibald enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force to fight in World War One.[2][3]

Archibald died on 25 February 1917 in France, killed in action.[2] He was a private at the time of his death,[4] serving in the 11th Infantry Battalion.[5]
