Biography
Edward Spring was born on 11 June 1808 at "The Point" in Killarney, Ireland, the eldest son of Catherine Fitzgerald and Francis Spring.[1][2][3][4]
He married Arabella Matilda Rudkin on 19 December 1844.[1][3][4] Their children were:
- Francis Edward Spring (1846–1847)[4]
- Arabella Maria Spring (1847–1856)[4]
- Francis Joseph Edward Spring (1849–1933)[1][4]
- Catherine Anne Spring (1850–1876)[1][4]
- Matilda Cecilia Spring (1852–1917)[1][4]
- Edward Maurice Day Spring (1853?–1931)[1][4]
Edward was an Anglican priest in the Church of Ireland.[1]
He died on 29 April 1880 at Magourney, Ireland, aged 72.[1][3]
Research notes
Will His wife Matilda Arabella is named as sole executrix, to be advised by his brother William. His daughter Matilda Cecilia is named as a beneficiary. He doesn't name his "dear boys" they "being otherwise provided for"[5]
